After more than a year of preparation the official launch for Restoration Baptist Church is set for Easter Sunday, April 5th, 2026!
A dedicated team of mostly volunteer laborers has invested a lot of time in renovating the old Village Church facilities. Updating critical utilities and improving safety as well as giving the facilities an extensive cosmetic makeover. The church is excited to open the doors to the community!
The building project is a physical reminder of the process of restoration. The facilities had suffered. Being built more than 60 years ago there were things that needed to be removed and replaced. Things had broken down and the things that weren’t broken down were out of date and needed updating. Through focused, intentional effort the facilities have been restored, a true restoration has taken place. In 1 Peter 5:10 it says, “The God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, establish, strengthen, and support you after you have suffered a little while.”
We all have suffered various things in life. Whether that be addiction, heartache, sickness, or loss we know what it is like to feel like we need updating or what it is like to break down. The encouragement for us in 1 Peter 5:10 is that after that time of breaking down there is a time for rebuilding, growth, and restoration! If may take time and it may be difficult, but God is faithful to restore. Through God’s grace our lives can be made whole, and we can feel strengthened and secured. This is the hope and message we are excited to show and bring to the community on April 5th.
