A New Church Built on an Older Legacy

Restoration Baptist Church of Indiantown is new church plant being established in 2025 but is built on the longtime legacy of faith of the Indiantown Baptist Church, which was planted back in 1940.

For many years, Indiantown Baptist had a vibrant ministry in the Indiantown community, but with the ebbs and flows of the community, the church declined in recent years. Upon the loss of a pastor in 2024, the leadership met together and determined that with new growth coming to Indiantown, they needed a fresh infusion of energy and leadership to face the challenges of a new generation. With the assistance of the Treasure Coast Baptist Association, Indiantown Baptist Church asked Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church (CFBC) in Stuart to come alongside them, take leadership, bring fresh vision and resources, and plant a new church using the long-time facilities of Indiantown Baptist Church. CFBC graciously accepted the challenge, and Restoration Baptist Church of Indiantown is in the process of being “replanted” as a new church by CFBC.

At this time, CFBC has provided a church planting pastor and other volunteers to help in re-establishing the ministry of the church, coming alongside a good group of the existing members of the Indiantown Baptist Church who decided to remain and are excited to help build the new ministry. Also, volunteers from CFBC are in the process of renovating the Sanctuary and other areas of the facilities to enhance a new ministry for this growing community.

Restoration Church is already meeting on Sundays for worship during this “preparation time,” currently using the Fellowship Hall at 11:00 a.m. each week while the Sanctuary is being renovated, and they are building up the Children’s Ministry as well. (Sunday School meets at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday.)

The “official” launch of the new Restoration Baptist Church is coming later this year when the primary renovations of the facilities are complete! We are energetically getting ready until that time, and you are welcome to worship and study with us while we are in this preparation stage. Use the “Contact Us” page to request more information!
